Sparky’s Tour is back, and we would like to visit your school pep rally or assembly this year! Sparky will be visiting a limited number of schools throughout the 2012 school year and he wants to make sure you are on the list.
Sparky’s Tour, in conjunction with the Sun Devil Club and Sun Devil Athletics, is a youth education initiative focused primarily on good character traits and healthy living. The program focuses on the five character traits using the acronym S.P.A.R.K.Y. — Self Discipline, Positive, Active, Respect, Knowledge and Yourself. The program is led by current students at ASU including student-athletes, and also features coaches, former student-athletes and athletic administration in ambassador roles with an emphasis n reaching the community throughout the Phoenix Metro area.
We encourage schools with grades Kindergarten – 6th grade to apply for their chance to be a part of Sparky’s Tour this year. Participation is free for schools, and includes pre-event materials, post-event materials and fun prizes for students and faculty.
