Q & A with Development Director, Linda "LV" Vollstedt:
Why did you choose to work at ASU? This is my 40th year at ASU. I had a successful career as the Women’s Golf Coach and then transitioned into administration in 2001. I felt like there was a real need to help raise funds for our female student-athletes, so the Sun Devil Club was the perfect fit.
Favorite Restaurants? Rusconi’s, Roy’s, Seasons 52, Chelsea's Kitchen
Favorite TV Shows? This Is Us, The Good Doctor, Amsterdam, Blacklist, A Million Little Things, any and all sports
Favorite Sun Devil Memory? Winning our first NCAA Championship in 1990. Missy Farr Kaye, our current golf coach, was a member of that team. The men also won that same year…no other program has won both championships in the same year.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I just remodeled my home and so I love spending time there. I enjoy reading and I really enjoy my vacation in San Diego at the Crystal Pier plus any time with my nephew, his wife and their 3 little girls.
