The Sun Devil Club Young Professionals Group (YPG) came out to support Sun Devil Women’s Soccer for their Senior Day victory over Washington on Sunday, Oct. 29.

“This was a great event for our membership to come and support the student-athletes on the women’s soccer team while also enjoying fellowship and tailgating beforehand,” said Abel Arriaga, YPG’s Vice President.

The group hosted a tailgate for its members prior to the contest and enjoyed a brief update from head coach Graham Winkworth where he shared insight on his past as well as a brief overview of the game strategy.

Along with attending the game, YPG is also donating $500 to support the women’s soccer program and their needs.

“We’re happy to be able to support all of our Sun Devil teams. As we grow in membership, we are able to provide support to various teams and we’re happy we could provide $500 to support the women’s soccer program and Coach Winkworth,” Arriaga said.

The Sun Devil Club Young Professionals Group (YPG) is a membership-based organization for Arizona State University alumni, fans and donors, ages 21 to 40. Its members are often your "die hard" Devils; they bleed maroon and gold and are looking to build a stronger affinity for Sun Devil Athletics by giving back through philanthropy and collaborative engagement. The SDCYPG offers networking opportunities and several unique, fun, and engaging events throughout the year, some of which include the popular Devils' Ball, an annual golf tournament, and home-game football tailgates! Membership dues are $300 annually ($25/month) and support the Sun Devil Club and Sun Devil Athletics.
