Mufu Taiwo joined the Sun Devil Club as a Development Officer on July 25, 2022. He joined Sun Devil Athletics from Auburn University where he served as Assistant to the Director of Athletics, providing Administrative support, internal/external communications and other special projects for the department.
Prior to his stint with the Tigers, Taiwo worked as an Operations Assistant at Ohio University while he pursued his Masters.
A native of Waldorf, Md., Taiwo played Football at Old Dominion University from 2015-19, graduating with a Bachelors of Information and Technology. During his time at ODU, he was on the Team Leadership Council and held the role of President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Taiwo also received the President's Award for Outstanding Community Service. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attained his Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University in 2021.
Taiwo lives in Scottsdale with his dog Apollo and enjoys travelling, cooking, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
