Having been a part of Sun Devil athletics during college, the Smith Family was motivated to establish this endowment as they have a deep understanding that a well-rounded university experience, including both academic and athletic excellence, prepares you for success in life after college. The intent of this fund is to financially support ASU Baseball in the pursuit of building champion student- athletes who will excel in the classroom, on the diamond, and, most importantly, in life after baseball. In assisting with access to a high level of education, the spirit of the endowment is to allow baseball student-athletes to draw on their experience at Arizona State in order to make a lasting and positive impact in the communities where they live and serve.
This scholarship fund will be used to benefit ASU baseball and its educational purposes, including:
- Tuition
- Room and Board
- Books
