Osweiler Gives Back to His Alma Mater
Just over 10 years ago, Brock Osweiler threw for 4,000 yards and 26 touchdowns for Arizona State University. After a 7 year career in the NFL in which he compiled over 40 total touchdowns and won a Super Bowl, he has settled back down in the Valley that took him in as an eager 18-year old.
"Coming to Arizona State University was one of the best decisions of my life," said Osweiler. "It jump-started my football career, introduced me to my future wife and allowed me to make lifelong friends while playing the game I love."
Now that he's back, he has wasted no time getting involved with his alma mater from a philanthropic standpoint. Osweiler recently made a substantial investment in the football program under the direction of first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham as he hopes to make an impact on lives similar to his own.
"I take great pride in being a Sun Devil and want to pay it forward by giving young men the same opportunities I had to get a degree and play the game I love so much," Osweiler added. "Being a Sun Devil and wearing that Maroon & Gold was something I never took for granted. It meant the world to me. I tried to make the most of every single day and make our amazing fans proud along the way."
Osweiler joins a growing collection of Sun Devil Letterwinners who are giving back to Sun Devil Athletics, joining the likes of NHL goalie Joey Daccord and others who see the value in giving back to Arizona State.
