Welcome to Dacs' House

What is Dacs' House?

Watch the brief video below to learn about Dacs' House from Joey Daccord in his own words:

The goal of Dacs' House and the Joey Daccord Community Impact Fund is to create meaningful programming that help connect youth and their families to Sun Devil Hockey. This will be done with events such as a suite in ASU's new Multi-Purpose Arena that will host 2-3 valley families of kids fighting childhood cancer for Sun Devil Hockey games, giving them a premiere experience while helping grow the game of hockey in the Valley.

A three-year starter for the Sun Devil Hockey Program, Joey Daccord is the most decorated player in program history. The school's first NHL signee, he played an integral role in propelling the team to its first NCAA Tournament berth in 2019 as a Junior. He posted a 21-13-1 record in 35 games with 2.35 GAA and a .926 SV% all while leading the nation with seven shutouts.

Daccord finished his degree after turning professional and has always kept ASU in his heart. Now that he has established himself as one of the up-and-coming NHL goaltenders, Daccord already has his sights set on giving back to the Sun Devil Community that supported him throughout his time at ASU.

A meaningful figure in his upbringing, Daccord's grandmother passed away from Pancreatic Cancer, so his passion for helping those fighting battles like his grandmother will always hold a special place in his heart.

This created the perfect intersection to begin Daccord's philanthropic journey and led to the creation of Dacs' House, a suite in Sun Devil Hockey's brand new Multi-Purpose Arena where families of children going through medical treatment can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with Sun Devil Hockey. The suite is adorned with gear and memories from Daccord's career including a special message from the former Sun Devil standout before each game.

Please consider supporting this worthy cause as Joey looks to impact as many young people in the valley as possible, all the while helping grow the game in a community that became a second home for a kid from North Andover, Mass.
