Making the Mullett
On August 23, 2022, Sun Devil Athletics unveiled the name of its new Multi-Purpose Arena, meant to house Sun Devil Hockey, Wrestling and Gymnastics among other community events. A product of years of determination, hard-work and philanthropy, the name was revealed to be Mullett Arena, named for Don and Barbara Mullet in recognition of their generosity.
This project and the unveiling of it's name serves as the latest reminder of the power of philanthropy and the philanthropic spirit at Arizona State. What once was a pipe dream for club hockey goalie Greg Powers more than two decades ago has come to fruition in no small part due to donors such as Don "Donze" and Barbara.
