Sun Devil Club: Enhance, Engage, Educate

Donor Spotlight: Edward Molina

Edward Molina and his family are Sun Devils for life. They have had football season tickets for over twenty years. Ed has also been a strong philanthropic supporter of football and men’s basketball. He is an Army veteran and has a passion to help people foster their entrepreneurial spirit. We asked Ed a few questions about why he supports Sun Devil Athletics:

In what ways are you connected to ASU?  Lifelong Sun Devil fan. Two of my children and their spouses are ASU graduates and two of the four also have post graduate degrees from ASU. I became a season ticket holder about twenty years ago.

What does it mean to you to be a Sun Devil and be a part of the Sun Devil Family? How does it help connect you with your community? Trying to build a tradition that becomes a legacy.

Why do you think it is important to support student-athletes and Sun Devil Athletics? It is a way to help grow the ASU brand nationally as well as internationally.

What makes Sun Devil Athletics unique? No other Sun Devils anywhere in the world. If you say Sun Devils there is only one, ASU.

What do you enjoy most about being a Sun Devil Club member? Contributing to the success of someone else while building a tradition.

Describe the most exciting game/meet/match you have attended. So many, but any game that we beat UA in Tucson is at the top of the list.

If you could have dinner with any Sun Devil student-athlete/coach/staff member from the past or present, who would it be and why? The list is long, but if only one then Charlie Taylor/Frank Kush. As a youngster, hearing Sun Devil radio broadcasts I would imagine playing alongside Charlie Taylor. Coach Kush, need I say more.

The Sun Devil Club would like to thank Edward for his continued support of Sun Devil Athletics. For more information on ways to get involved with the Sun Devil Club, please contact us by email at or by phone at (480) 727-7700.
